Multifunctional Audio Signal Generator
The multifunctional audio signal generator is used in general secondary education institutions during demonstration experiments as a source of alternating electrical current in the audio frequency range. The device is a portable source of sinusoidal, square, and triangular electrical waveforms in the audio and infrasonic frequency ranges. The generator complies with the following Ukrainian national standards (GOST and DSTU): GOST 10501-74, GOST 9788, GOST 28139, DSTU 79.002, DSTU 79.003, DSTU 79.007. GOST and DSTU are Ukrainian national standards.
The generator features an additional square and triangular waveform mode with the following characteristics:
- The frequency corresponds to that of the sinusoidal signal
- Maximum output voltage amplitude: not less than 5 V
- The basic reduced measurement error of the level meter for square and triangular signals does not exceed ±20%
- Rise time and fall time of the square waveform, at a load resistance of 5 ±0.5 Ω, do not exceed 300 ns over the entire frequency range
- Duty cycle of the square waveform, at a load resistance of 5 ±0.5 Ω, is 0.5 ±0.1 over the entire frequency range
- Non-linearity factor of the triangular waveform does not exceed 3% at a load resistance of 5 ±0.5 Ω over the entire frequency range
Power supply requirements:
- AC mains supply: 220 V ±10%, 50 ±0.5 Hz
- Harmonic distortion of the supply voltage: up to 5%
Power consumption: not exceeding 40 VA. The generator reaches normal operating mode within 10 seconds after switching on. The generator is designed for continuous operation for up to 8 hours. Mean time between failures (MTBF): 2,000 hours
